It began operations in March 2008 at Ricardo Limardo Hospital in Puerto Plata, under the direction of Ana María Brugal. It is currently run by a group of volunteers who have continued this wonderful work over the years.
The main objective of the Branch is to provide patients at the hospital where it operates with services similar to those offered by the Jesús con los Niños Volunteer Center headquarters in Santiago, and to refer cases requiring special care not available locally to the branch.
We work in alignment, under the same institutional philosophy, focused on the humanization of pediatric health services and alleviating the physical, emotional and economic burden caused by the disease.
